This blog will hopefully be about my Taiwan adventures, when I move to Taipei in two months now to teach at the American school.  I’m a travel fiend, inherantly resistant to staying in one place for too long.  After almost three years in Austin I knew it was time to do something new, much as I adore this town.  There have been the usual pre-move regrets, like “What the hell was I thinking?  I freakin’ LOVE Austin! Now i’m stuck in a two-year teaching contract, damnit!”  But when those feelings pass, I feel excited to go on another adventure.  I’m determined to document my Taiwanese escapades here – I’ve never been good at sticking to writing routines, but – seriously – I’m really gonna try this time!
